Education is a unique way to let people know how they can change their lives and get a good education or a critical education can be the ultimate answer to our most intimate problems. But we don’t have a good education. Who is to blame?
ResponderExcluirEducation should be a way for students to be able to think about the problems of their reality. In fact, the schools give us opportunities to work. We are not aware about our policy, social problems and the implications of not getting involved with social values.
Today the teacher's role is passive, a distributor of information, but the problem is: how can develop a critical awareness and socially responsible without contributions of educator?
The role of the teacher in elementary or secondary education at the University is to provide conditions so that people are aware of your environment and critical reflection about their own methods of knowledge construction and the methods used by those around them.
The teacher should not be indifferent. The teacher must be active, but should not allow students to become the shadow of the educator.

Traditionalism is very strong.
The education is a form of manifestation of the opinon. If the people and pricipaly the estudants use the forms or methods of education to express their opinions, they have more chances of to be heard.

Freedom Writers is a movie that shows us the reality how it is. In it we can observe the language is a instrument used to integrate the american´s teens,but they don´t think that learn about it and about how write and speak english,in this case,correctly would become their lives.In the and of the movie they realised that write,just for write,helped them to overcome their sadness.

What we´ve got until today with studying in schools is not a thing that can make us proud! We live in a stupid system of education, we are unable to do many things that was taken out from ourselves. We lost spontaneity, we are less sensitive and so much naive! I think that we dont this kind os education, we were born to be free of all kind of control!
ResponderExcluirEducation is a interesting way to transmit some message for a lot of people, and a way to introduce a new idea in a society. It's an oportunity for the teachers, because inside a class, the teacher can tell all the classmates a new context of culture, or a new way to think about the life or some point of the life, like these people we are studing, they want to give us a new idea, a critical vision. It's an idea to bring for children or for adults too. The education is very important in a society when the teacher can give some interesting points to tell the students like progress, education with each other and respect between everybody in a society. everybody needs to learn the fundamental laws to live in a society.

Education is essential in the formation of a people because it allows one to know the past, it also allows her to have a critical training to live the present and build your future.
ResponderExcluirAnother important factor to have education, especially due to related education is that without an educational background is almost impossible to get a job now.The this formation also allows you to have a broad and critical to fight for our rights in school, at work and days days of life.The education is the key to survive today, because it opened the doors for a good job.
The role of the teacher as we see in the video is in the construction of education, since he has the opportunity to teach their students as having a critical approach, teaching students to see the world and improve it.
Therefore, we can see that education is essential in developing world and that the teacher has the key role in this development.
Education isn’t only many subjects that we have to learn at the school. It’s much more than it. Education is the way more safe to live socially. It’s a way to fight for our rights and to respect each other. Unfortunately we live in a capitalism world where we aim at first: money. In general the schools, the teachers only teach us the subjects, become it a way to pass university entrance examination and then to get a good job. If the teachers and the schools looked education with another eyes, teaching basics things like respect and human rights, certainly we would live in a world more human and less mechanic, with much more respect from each other.

ResponderExcluirI don`t like stagnant image which education is always for changes. What must we really change? All? Isn`t there anything good in our reality? For changing something, we need to know what exists at the moment and what need to be changed and what we desire. Critical thinking for me isn`t change all things. Contradictory, it is to be rigid. Critical thinking is to think about the subject and to participate whit your opinion. That opinion can be just agree whit it was proposed, for example. So, education can serve to discovery about reality and about possibilities of changing if you want this...

I think that a country must have as a base, education, health, justice. You can then find people with a critical and creative view reality. Education is an important tool to make a better world. Education is the key for everybody to be able to change their lives for the better. The places where you don’t have education you find many problems like hunger, disease and war. Many writers and people that work with education say that this is the way for a better world.
ResponderExcluirI think education is so important for many things, like just to know, or to be someone in our lives, or to earn money. But I think we can related all these topics. Education can be really to have knowledge, because is verty important to know about things of you are talking in a group of friends. In the way, education is also to be someone in our lives. If you don't have knoledge, who are you? What about can you speak? And who will understand what you are saing? If you want to be understand, you really need know about what people are talking.. Or you will be silly ( or just seem silly).
ResponderExcluirAnd we need the education to earn money. Obvious I'm talking about work's money. When you have education, you can do many thinks inside your job. You can speak with your boss and you can speak with your secretary and if it's necessary you can speak with your clients.
So I think we need to relate all these topics for give mean about education.
Education is one of the best ways to make a difference. It is promotes a better awareness of the population, making get more information and, consequently, more wisdom. And a people who have it can hardly be passed back. Fact that brings self-esteem that is so necessary. However, no one knows for sure when we will have a government willing to invest heavily in education. The problems start in the absense of education for all.

ResponderExcluirEducation is product of one society. In one capitalism society like we live, education in more times is for the market, is a tool for survive, is a product that you need to pay. But education can be more this, education can be for freedom, for a critical think, for a different way to see the world. It’s difficult, because it’s to go against one structured system. So, education can be for transformation or just for reproduce the contradictions of society.
ResponderExcluirEducation is important because the people as don’t have education don’t have the opportunity to get a good job and impart of the society giving their opinion. Education is important don’t only for learn math, physics and Portuguese… but is important for the formation of the citizens if a critical form, for it is important the teachers stimulate the participation of the students in class and to promote discussions about polemic topics as are important for the formation of the citizens. This form the people can get a good job and can be good professionals.

Education is important for people's lives, because it is through education that the opportunities arise. I'm not just talking about education, I am also talking of family education, it is especially important for children because they have not yet made up his personality. School education at both basic and the top can transform the life of a person can enter a person excluded from society. Thinking critically, people can transform their lives, they can realize that the power of transformation is in their hands.
For Michel Foucault, knowledge is power. The relation knowledge/power is far closer. In other words, who don't have knowledge and either wasn’t born in a royal family or don’t belong to a social group where the level of schooling is inconsiderable, neither have power.
Critical pedagogy inspire people to think critically, thus it ensure the students knowledge acquiring and so its empowerment.
Good education could be a tool for a good social position. But this "good" means, good teachers, with initiative and crative ideas to improve the teaching. Like Eva in Freedom Writers, she saw a situation that other teachers were living together a long time. That "good" means a lot of things that must be together. It creates a support to the students show all their potential.

If we country had more people with critical education i think we didn't accept all these things that come happenig, for example politcs corrupts. The people will know how figth for his rights.
